Abstract: «Country of castles» – so in ancient times Belarus was called. Today castles, forts, palaces and other buildings of defensive type have no former strategic importance. However, being priceless material monuments telling about history and culture of Belarus, they can be the most interesting objects for seeing not only for our citizens, but also for foreign visitors.
