Abstract

This article focuses on defining the role of information technology in a business system. This article reveals the reasons for the popularization of information systems in all areas of the production of goods and services, identifies the main blocks of business systems, and describes the role of information technologies in each of them: management, production, marketing. The role of information technology is also shown as an instrument uniting these three blocks and connecting them into a single business system.
