Abstract: Problems of determining the level of competitiveness of the investment climate in Belarus on the basis of estimates given by reputable international rating agencies and financial institutions are considered in the article. Changes in the investment climate of the country are expected as a result of the ongoing activities analysis. Position of the Republic of Belarus in the world arena in respect of favorability of business conduct conditions, based on the analysis of Standard&Poor' s and the World Bank ratings, is determined.
