Abstract

Taking into consideration food reserves reduction in the foreseeable future on a global scale, national orientation of its forming, limitation of the state in currency, import of food provisions and raw materials should be substituted (where possible) for the production of domestic manufacture. Import substitution was emphasized recently in many countries, including Republic of Belarus. Topicality of import production substitution in Belarus can be explained by dissatisfied condition of food security in some food products and negative international trade balance. Planning and prediction can be considered as processes of appropriate substantiation of development of import substitution and components of united process of production regulation and international connection.
