Abstract: In the article the author studies the Genesis and evolution of the trade Union movement, a General characteristic of the constitutional-legal status of trade unions, identified and studied the principles of creation and activities of Belarusian trade unions, and in conclusion, the author of self-definition and the content of basic rights and duties of trade unions in the Republic of Belarus.
