Résumé: The article examines the economic characteristics of the state and use of the main types of natural resources in the Republic of Belarus. Also considered are the existing problems that impede the maximum involvement of this type of resources in the economic turnover. The ways of increasing the efficiency of using the natural resource potential in the Republic of Belarus are proposed.
