Символизм глаз: мифы и реальность

Abstract

The article deals with syntagmatic and paradigmatic ties of image and symbol of eyes. This image and symbol have their own structure and semantics as well as a number of connotations in different speech situations. Cognitive nature of symbol is hidden behind its name in the form of a certain linguistic sign. The issues of this nature revealing are considered from their semantic structure formation and analysed in the context of interaction of natural, cultural and social beginnings.
