Направления совершенствования государственного управления системы социальной защиты в Республике Беларусь

Abstract

In the article the main directions of the social protection system of the Republic of Belarus are considered, such as the population size in terms of ages: younger than the able-bodied, able-bodied and older than the able-bodied; the number of pensioners who are registered with the labor, employment and social protection bodies; share of disabled people; level of poverty of the population by regions and the city of Minsk. Characteristic indicators of the social protection system (causes of population aging, the number of disabled people in the Republic of Belarus, the reasons for poverty of the population, etc.) are analyzed. The necessity of improving the system of social protection of the population has been identified and justified. Based on the analysis carried out, consideration is given to some priority areas in the field of social protection.
