Валютная интеграция в Латинской Америке: современное состояние и перспективы

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются основные направления развития процессов валютной интеграции в Латинской Америке. Выявлены цели и особенности интеграционных процессов, а также пути формирования валютного союза в регионе, а именно долларизация и введение новой единой валюты. Обобщены факторы, необходимые для создания валютного союза в регионе. Сделан вывод о несоответствии субрегионов критериям оптимальной валютной зоны. The article deals with the main directions for the development of the processes of monetary integration in Latin America. The aims and peculiarities of integration processes as well as the ways of formation of a monetary union in the region are determined, namely dollarization and introduction of a single currency. The article summarizes the factors necessary for creation of a monetary union in the region. A conclusion was made that the subregions do not conform to the criteria of an optimum currency area.
