Abstract: The article discusses construction of the factor model of productivity; the stages of its construction are described. A system of indicators for the construction of the model is given; their selection is carried out, as well as the analysis of the functional relationships between the indicators. A range of organizations whose data will be used in the model is identified; classification of the organizations in terms of their labour productivity is accomplished.
