Abstract: This report clarifies the definition of civil liability for harm caused by a source of increased danger and identifies and analyzes its core characteristics. Emphasis is placed on the systemic issue of inconsistent legislative regulation and practical application dilemmas of this liability type in many jurisdictions, including the Republic of Belarus and member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
