dc.description.abstractThe article is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the adoption of the Charter of Civil Procedure of November 20, 1864. The study of the reform and development of civil litigation allows to use the experience of the previous reform at the current stage of judicial system development. The subject of the research is the legal and regulatory framework of civil proceedings of the pre-reform period as well as general rules of reforming and development.-
